Refund Policy

At For Pet's Sake, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We offer a 30-day return window with free return shipping on eligible items shipped within Canada. You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return by contacting us at orders@forpetssake.ca or (250) 590-0710.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it — unused, unopened, and in its original packaging. You'll also need your receipt or proof of purchase.

Non-Returnable Items

For health and food-safety reasons, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned:

  • Raw, frozen, freeze-dried, or dehydrated pet food
  • Any opened food, treats, or supplements
  • Sale items and gift cards
  • Custom or personalized orders

If you're unsure whether your item qualifies for a return, please contact us before shipping it back.

Damages & Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If anything is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately at orders@forpetssake.ca or (250) 590-0710 and we'll make it right — at no cost to you.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email orders@forpetssake.ca or call (250) 590-0710 to request a return.
  2. Once approved, we'll email you a prepaid return shipping label.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging and drop it off at the carrier location indicated on the label.

Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return Shipping

For Pet's Sake covers the cost of return shipping on all eligible returns within Canada. We'll provide a prepaid return label once your return request is approved — there's no out-of-pocket shipping cost to you.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the right item is to return your original purchase and place a new order once the return is approved.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of the approval. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval without a refund appearing, please contact us at orders@forpetssake.ca.
